I have had the lamp for a week and am returning it because the following information was not in the description: the on/off switch is not located anywhere on the lamp itself but is instead on the cord. I thought it was automatic that a lamp like this would have an on/off switch on the top of the lamp or someplace on the base. If it's on the cord it just is really hard to turn on and off because it requires reaching behind my desk.More detail ...
